Terms of Service
Simple rules for using this private Discord music bot, dashboard, and Activity tools.
1. What This Service Is
Disco at Discord is a private Discord bot for playing music, managing queues, using soundboards, controlling server playback from a dashboard, and testing Discord Activity features such as shared screen rooms.
2. Allowed Use
Use the bot only in servers where you have permission to use it. Do not use it to harass people, spam channels, disrupt calls, bypass Discord rules, or share content you do not have the right to share.
3. Music and Media
The bot uses third-party services such as YouTube and Spotify metadata to find and play media. You are responsible for the links, searches, playlists, and soundboard files you add. Availability may change when third-party services change their systems.
4. Dashboard Access
The dashboard is meant for trusted users. Users with dashboard or superuser access may control playback, view logs, update or restart the bot, manage soundboards, and remove the bot from servers. Keep access limited to people you trust.
5. Uploads and Soundboards
Uploaded soundboard files are stored by the bot so they can be played later. Do not upload private, illegal, abusive, or copyrighted material unless you have permission to use it. Uploaded files can be removed by server administrators or bot maintainers.
6. Screen Activity
The custom screen Activity uses browser screen sharing inside Discord. Users choose what to share from their own device. Do not share sensitive windows, private messages, passwords, personal data, or content you are not allowed to show.
7. Logs and Basic Data
The bot may keep recent operational logs, server IDs, channel settings, dashboard login records, soundboard settings, and Spotify connection status so the bot can work. The bot is not designed for storing sensitive personal information.
8. No Warranty
This bot is provided as-is. It may break, go offline, fail to play a track, lose access to third-party services, or be restarted during updates. Use it with that in mind.
9. Removal
If you do not want the bot in a server, remove it from that server or ask a server administrator or bot maintainer to remove it. Dashboard superusers may also remove the bot from a server through the dashboard.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated as the bot changes. Continued use of the bot means you accept the current version of these terms.
